Apple Music has announced a set of new features as part of iOS 27. Artists can now add their own logos to their Apple Music artist pages, change the colors of buttons, and highlight content of their choice.

New Customization Features for Apple Music Artist Pages

As part of the new iOS 27 update, Apple has expanded its Apple Music features for artists. The new features include custom artist logos that artists can upload to replace the standard text on their profiles. “It adds a personal touch to your artist page, applying your signature style to build a deep connection with your fans,” Apple Music explains. Artist logos can be submitted by artists through Apple Music for Artists or by a content provider through Apple Music Connect.

Here’s what you need to pay attention to if you want to submit a logo:

  1. The minimum size of your logo must be 2880 pixels wide or 960 pixels tall, meaning it must meet the minimum width or height specified in the template.

  2. The template size must be 3000 × 1200 pixels.

  3. The file must be in PNG format.

  4. Logos should have a transparent background, as they will be overlaid on top of a background image.

  5. Avoid using solid dark colors, including solid black. Bright colors, white logos, or dark logos with contrasting effects or outlines work best.

You can visit the official support page to download Apple Music’s artist logo template and make sure your artwork meets the required dimensions and safe area guidelines. You can also find all the additional guidelines there. The review process can take up to five business days, so don’t worry too much if your logo isn’t approved right away.

In addition, artists can now highlight content of their choice at the top of their pages, as Music Ally reports. Whether it’s a new or older release, a playlist, or a music video, there are several types of content to choose from. Artists can also customize the colors of the buttons on their pages to better match their branding.

These new customization options give artists more ways to make their Apple Music profiles stand out and create a more personal experience for their fans.
