1. Delano Smith & Brian Kage - D-Spirit
Released in 2021 via the label Michigander, “D-Spirit” by Delano Smith & Brian Kage appears on the Keep ’Em Movin’ EP and reflects their shared Detroit roots. Rooted in deep house, the track uses steady percussion and warm pads to create a smooth, driving groove.
2. FUTUREGiRL - our love
Released in February 2026, "Our Love" is a jungle/drum & bass track by London-based producer and DJ FUTUREGiRL. The nearly eight-minute cut features jazzy chords, warm pads, vocal samples, and rolling breaks that are sure to make you move.
3. JakoJako - Auris
“Auris” is a track by Berlin-based producer, Berghain resident, and synth artist JakoJako from her Verve EP. Released in 2023 on Mute Records, the track features layered synths, rich textures, and a hypnotic pulse that draws the listener in.
4. Ma Haiping - Core Pulse [MOL044D]
"Core Pulse" is a techno track by Ma Haiping, one of China’s most influential independent electronic music producers and DJs who previously released an album on Jeff Mills’ legendary Axis Records. Released in 2024 on Molecular Recordings, the track features pulsing percussion, layered textures, and a hypnotic drive that builds steadily.
5. feloneezy - Unlimited Peace 02
"Unlimited Peace 02" is the second of five ambient tracks on APPX:18 Unlimited Peace, produced by Žarko Komar in Belgrade. The EP was released in 2025 on Appendix.files [APPX:], a Berlin-based label focused on sonic experimentation, material care, and sustainable listening. The track reflects exactly that, layering metallic, digital sounds over lush textures that evolve gradually over time.
6. Floorplan - Never Grow Old (Re-Plant)
Next comes "Never Grow Old (Re-Plant)", a 2014 remix of the Detroit classic by Floorplan, the duo of Robert Hood and his daughter Lyric Hood. Released on Hood’s M-Plant label, the track intensifies the original with heavier kicks, and in true Detroit fashion, it’s guaranteed to get you dancing.
7. Maara - Nothing Sacred
“Nothing Sacred” is a track by Montreal-based producer and DJ Maara from her 2023 album The Ancient Truth, released on Berlin‑based label Step Ball Chain. The track blends ambient, immersive soundscapes and rich textures, reflecting the album’s genre-spanning approach, including drum & bass, IDM, and downtempo.
8. windowseeker - active world
Released in 2023 as part of the seed net / active world single, “Active World” is a track by Berlin‑based artist windowseeker (Lukas Oppenheimer). The roughly 7‑minute track blends ambient elements with complex breaks and textured sound design, showcasing a contemplative, expansive mood typical of his experimental productions.
9. Rrose x Bob Ostertag - Pointillism (Variation Two)
“Pointillism (Variation Two)” is a track from Motormouth Variations (2011), a collaborative project between Rrose and composer Bob Ostertag. Rrose reworked and manipulated recordings from Ostertag’s original material, creating an abstract electronic piece that blends experimental textures with subtle rhythmic structures.
10. K-Hand - In The Morning
Next comes “In The Morning,” a track by Detroit techno and house pioneer K‑Hand, widely recognized as the “First Lady of Detroit techno." Originally released on her Afterhour single in 2020 via her Acacia Records imprint, the track reflects her signature blend of soulful energy and deep, driving rhythms.
11. Movement - Feiertag
“Feiertag” by Movement was released on the legendary R&S Records in 2024. The label is celebrated for innovative electronic music, and the track captures its signature sound with driving breakbeats, expansive synths, and memorable vocal samples.
12. Loose Ends - Hangin' On A String
“Hangin’ On a String (Contemplating)” is a classic R&B/soul track by British band Loose Ends, released in 1985 on Virgin Records. Its smooth synths, drum-machine grooves, and polished production have influenced countless electronic and R&B artists, making it a timeless bridge between soul and synth-driven music.
13. Madctrl & IIEH - Gnosis
“Gnosis” is a track by Hong Kong electronic producers Madctrl & IIEH from their Oxidation Ritual EP, released in 2025 on the Bionickle label. The piece combines experimental sound design with deep, polyrhythmic elements and textured atmospheres, reflecting their immersive, avant‑garde approach to electronic music.
14. Heliosphere - Abyss
“Abyss” is a driving, immersive techno track by the Mumbai, India-based duo Heliosphere. Released in 2025 as part of Molecular Recordings’ Covalence Series 1, the track features raw, intense, hypnotic rhythms and textured sound design, making it ideal for the dancefloor.
15. Patrice Scott - Analog Dreams
“Analog Dreams” is a track by Detroit producer Patrice Scott, released in 2011 on Sistrum Recordings. It blends warm analog sequences, intricate drums, and soulful melodies, reflecting his signature deep house style with subtle techno elements.
16. Basic Channel - Radiance II
“Radiance II” is a track by Basic Channel, widely credited with shaping dub‑inflected minimal techno in the early 1990s. Released in 1994 as part of the Radiance 12″ on their own Basic Channel imprint, the track pairs deep, echoing textures with soft rhythms, reflecting the duo’s signature blend of dub atmospheres and spare techno production.
