Boiler Room has been sold
Although the year has just begun, we're already seeing significant changes in the music industry. One notable development concerns Boiler Room, one of the most influential platforms in electronic music (and beyond). Just a few days ago, it was announced that Superstruct, a company with a strong presence in live music across Europe and Australia, has acquired the broadcaster. Specializing in live event production, staging, and brand partnerships, Superstruct manages over 80 festivals and possesses much experience in the live music industry.
According to Music Business Worldwide, the Boiler Room team will continue to manage operations, while DICE will remain a partner for ticketing. In a statement about the acquisition, Boiler Room’s founder expressed confidence in the partnership, saying, “We feel in good company with their roster of brands. They offer us new opportunities to grow, while understanding the importance of staying true to the authenticity that, at its core, is what makes Boiler Room special.”
