Why Do I Have An Error Message That Says “This Audio File Has Already Been Used”?
This issue will occur when you attempt to re-upload files that are already linked to other tracks in your Library. Since the system does not permit the same audio file to be associated with multiple tracks simultaneously, here’s what you need to do 👇
- You can select the track that currently contains the audio file for your release by clicking Include from Library during the release creation process.
- If you prefer to use a different track instead, you will need to remove the audio file from the unwanted track. To do this, click on the track, select Edit and then choose Delete audio.
⚠️Important: If the track containing the audio file is linked to a release that has already been paid for, you will not be able to delete the audio file yourself. Please reach out to our Support team if you need help with this!
