My current position at iMusician is Content Marketing & SEO Manager. I take care of addressing and attracting new artists and labels (+ educate our existing roster) with quality content such as guides, blog articles, and webinars that is optimized for search engines.
When and how did you join iMusician?
I joined iMusician as an Artist & Label Relations Executive in July 2019 as a working student, alongside my master's study program in international business administration.
What do you find meaningful in your job?
To work in a team with so many inspiring human beings, to help independent artists all over the globe to get heard, and be given a lot of trust and responsibility in the daily business.
What was the biggest challenge you overcame during this time?
Moving from our ArLaR-department to the marketing team was the biggest challenge for me when I learned to adapt to a new team, new tasks, and different processes.
What is your relationship with the music industry or music in general?
I played the piano, I'm a DJ and record collector, and I have my own label as well as a YouTube channel (+50K subs) for electronic music uploads and I curate playlists. Beyond that, I love going out to clubs, festivals, and concerts. I'd say music determines an important part of my life =)
What's the funniest thing that has ever happened to you at iMusician?
Having a raclette (Christmas) dinner with my team in the Berlin office in the middle of the summer at 38 degrees. I'd do it again at any time.
