In just two years, international electronic music composer Rubén de Madame has carved out a niche for himself by signing releases to labels all around Europe and features on prestigious electronic music blogs such as tech-house blog Blanc. In his short time as a producer, he has garnered the support of renowned electronic musician Richie Hawtin with his first EP Guau-Guau. With his latest single 'Overdose' he continues further in the techno genre.
What can you tell us about Overdose?
The single Overdose is a more acidic track that I really wanted to do. It's a powerful and strong track that I'm proud and happy that it has been chosen as Release of the week in iMusician. Also happy with the good reviews received these days on social networks.
How has been your journey in the streaming and download platforms?
If I'm honest, I don't pay much attention to Spotify. My forte is Instagram, Beatport, and SoundCloud.
What projects do you have for the next few months?
I have releases prepared every month for the next two years, as I was locked up for a year in a room composing 15 to 20 hours a day to evade my suffering after the death of my dog Madame: hence my stage name, a tribute to that special being.
