Can I Distribute Multiple Artists?
Yes! Whether you’re an independent artist managing multiple projects or a label with a diverse roster, iMusician allows you to distribute music for multiple artists from a single account.
Main vs. Secondary Artists
To ensure accurate attribution on streaming platforms (DSPs) and to choose the right pricing, it is important to distinguish your artists:
- Main Artist: The primary performer or band.
- Secondary Artist: Featured artists or guests.
Artist Limits by Plan
The number of Main Artists you can manage depends on your specific plan:
- Starter or Rockstar: Unlimited
- AMPLIFY: 1 Main Artist
- AMPLIFY+: 2 to 20 Main Artists (Selectable)
- AMPLIFY Pro: Unlimited
The limitation is calculated based on the number of main artists that were distributed from your account and on actual online releases featuring these main artists. To manage your roster, go to Library > Artists. Any artist with a "Main Artist" tag counts toward your limit. You can "free up" a slot by taking down all releases associated with a specific Main Artist.
