Release of the Week: Fole
- 29 September 2021, Wednesday
Despite her youth, Fole takes her music very seriously. You only need to listen to his latest single Telón to realize it. Under its fatalistic tinge, it hides an honest vision of what could be the future of any artist in the era of rapid consumption in which we live: what will happen when the spotlights go out? For this urban hip-hop artist, thinking about this is a liberation to be able to live every step of her musical career to the fullest.
Can you tell us who Fole is and introduce us to your musical project?
Fole is the one who tells me to keep going, not to stop, as I say in my next song Telón. It is that creative vein that I had been hiding and I have decided to give it to the world. In short, a part of me that has little to do with the one that goes to work and rides the train every day.
The project I have in mind is to bring out a series of themes closely related to everything we have lived this past year during the pandemic. What I have lived and how it has changed me. I have left a lot of love, pain, and affection in the songs that come out this Friday.
Can you tell us about the new single?
Telón is one of the two pretty girls on my next project. It has rock influences and lyrics that may seem sad or painful but, if you pay attention to it, it's much more than that. I'm talking about my death as an artist, a death that all artists come to and that we don't even want to keep in mind. I think that thinking about it before I have become a consolidated artist says a lot about the realism and seriousness that I put into my work.
Can you tell us a little bit about your journey on the streaming and download platforms?
It's been great. Seeing my tracks uploaded to platforms where millions of viewers can watch it is just amazing. At first I was a little panicked but now I enjoy it. I love it.

What projects do you have for the coming months?
I have a lot of content written, thought and ready to be released. Of course, one of the things I have in mind is to go back to the shows and feel again what it feels like to be on stage.
