Can I choose specific regions and countries for my release?
Yes, you can. By default, your release will always be distributed worldwide. However, selecting specific regions and countries for distribution can be useful when collaborating with publishing, distribution, or label partners who only cover certain parts of the world.
How does it work?
• If you're subscribed to one of our AMPLIFY plans, you can adjust the release regions for all your releases at no additional cost
• Alternatively, if you’re on the Starter pay-per-release option, you can select custom release regions for a release by paying a one-time fee. This option is exclusively for the release you pay for.
• If you’re using the Rockstar pay-per-release option, custom release regions are already included at no extra cost.
During release upload, navigate to the "Delivery" section (step 1), click "Change" next to "Worldwide distribution," and adjust the release regions as needed for that specific release.
Please note: When YouTube Content ID is enabled, worldwide distribution is a requirement.
