What's The Difference Between The Delivery And Release Date?

Delivery Date

The delivery date is when we send your music to digital service providers (DSPs like Spotify, Apple Music, etc.). The delivery timeline depends on:

  • The release date you select during checkout.
  • Whether you select the option to pitch your music (which requires an additional 2 weeks).
  • The accuracy of your metadata (releases requiring corrections cannot be delivered until they meet content guidelines).
  • Current Quality Assurance review volumes.

Based on the release date you select at the time of order, one of the following delivery types will be scheduled:

  • Standard Delivery: Reviewed within 10 business days of your selected release date.
  • Express Delivery: Reviewed within 5 business days of your selected release date.
  • Priority Delivery: Reviewed within 2 business days of your selected release date.

Release Date

The release date is the day your music officially goes live and becomes available to listeners.

While releases generally go live around 14:00 CEST, each platform operates on its own schedule. Your release may become available at any point between 00:00 and 23:59 on your scheduled date. If your release isn't live right at midnight, please allow the full 24-hour window before reaching out to support.
