What's The Difference Between The Delivery And Release Date?
The delivery date is the day when we send your release to the platforms. This is calculated based on the delivery option you select 👇
- Standard Delivery: The release will be reviewed and delivered within 2 business weeks after payment.
- Express Delivery: The release will be reviewed and delivered within 1 business week after payment.
- Priority Delivery: The release will be reviewed and delivered within 2 business days after payment.
If your release fails the quality check, the delivery date will be postponed until your release meets the quality requirements. If you’ve requested the option to pitch your track to Spotify, it requires the delivery date to be at least 2 weeks before your digital release date.
The digital release date is the day when all shops upload your music on their respective platforms. This is the day when your music is officially “released” and it becomes available to your listeners. Releases typically go live on all platforms around 14:00 (CEST) on the release date, but each platform operates independently. This means that your release may go live anytime within a 24-hour window on the scheduled date (00:00 to 23:59), so don’t worry if it’s not online at 00:00 sharp!
