I Already Have My Own ISRC and EAN/UPC Codes. What's the Procedure?

For the EAN/UPC Barcode

  1. Open your order and go to Release > Do you have a barcode?
  2. Enter your EAN/UPC in the designated field.

For the ISRC

  1. Open your order and go to Tracks.
  2. Select the track and scroll to the bottom of the Edit page to the field ISRC.
  3. Add your ISRC.

Some Important Considerations

  • You cannot use the same barcode for both digital and physical distribution.
  • If you’ve changed digital distributors, make sure to re-use your existing ISRCs and EAN/UPCs in order to retain your streams and royalties. If however you’ve changed your artist name in the meantime, do not re-use your ISRCs and EAN/UPCs otherwise this will cause issues when we redistribute your music!
  • If you're trying to re-distribute a track you already distributed with us but in a different release (e.g. for a waterfall release), simply add the track to your release by clicking on Include from Library. Otherwise you will get an error message.
