Should I Declare My Earnings For Taxes?
Yes! Any sales income you earn from your music must be declared as income to your local tax authority. Tax laws vary from country to country, so we strongly recommend that you consult with a specialized tax advisor to ensure you're following the proper steps for your specific situation 👍
What About Swiss Tax Laws?
Since we are a Swiss company, your sales income is subject to Swiss VAT law. If you have a Swiss VAT number, contact our support team and send us an invoice that includes your VAT number, along with 8.1% VAT added to your sales income.
For tax reporting purposes, the amount of your sales income must be reported to your local tax authority as a tax-exempt service provided abroad. For example, in Germany, this income should be declared under item n°45 on the "input tax return form" as "other tax-exempt turnover".
Do You Provide Tax Advice?
As a distributor, we’re not qualified to provide any specific tax advice or information about tax regulations in your country. Please seek assistance from a tax professional to understand how to declare your earnings properly based on your location!
