Can I Choose My Release Date?
Yes, absolutely! The whole timeline and delivery of your release depends on the release date you select during the order process, so it’s a crucial step. Here’s how it works:
Delivery Options
Based on the release date you choose, you’ll have access to three types of delivery. Here’s a breakdown:
- Standard Delivery: Your release will be delivered to the shops within 14 business days after payment.
- Express Delivery: Your release will be delivered to the shops within 7 business days after payment.
- Priority Delivery: Your release will be delivered to the shops within 2 business days after payment.
⚠️Business days exclude weekends and Berlin public holidays.
Pitching Services
If you’ve selected pitching as part of your order, the release date calendar will be adjusted accordingly. This allows enough lead time for editorial consideration by the curators.
Important Consideration:
Your release date directly affects the entire distribution timeline. Keep in mind that shorter lead times leave less margin to address any potential issues, which could delay your release. Selecting a longer timeline provides greater flexibility and minimizes risks associated with last-minute adjustments. To ensure a smooth process, we recommend submitting payment at least 4 weeks before your desired release date.
