Can I Make Modifications to My Release?
Yes. After you've paid for your release, it’s still possible to make some modifications!
What Can Be Modified?
After you’ve paid and submitted the release, we still allow some changes. However, once your release status says Delivered, it will no longer be possible to change certain elements. At that point, it won’t be possible to:
- Change the ISRC codes of your tracks
- Change the barcode of the release
- Add or remove tracks
- Change the order of the tracks
- Change the main artist name
If your release hasn’t been delivered yet, we have more flexibility to make these changes. In any case, please reach out to us as soon as possible if you need to adjust anything but most importantly, make sure to double-check your release before submitting it to avoid any issues!
How Long Do Modifications Take?
Modifications require a minimum of 4 business days to process (weekends and holidays are excluded). If you need to make changes before your release goes live, please submit modification requests well in advance to ensure everything can be handled in time 👍
How Do I Request a Modification?
To request a modification, log into your iMusician account and follow these steps:
- Go to Library > Releases.
- Select the release you want to modify.
- Under Music Distribution, click Manage.
- From there, hit the Request Change button. Depending on your current subscription, you’ll have two options:
- AMPLIFY+ and AMPLIFY Pro members can request modifications to any release at no extra cost.
- AMPLIFY and Starter plan members can request a change by paying a one-time fee to activate the feature.
- You’ll be redirected to our messaging tool and there you’ll be able to request your modification directly to our team.
